Evey entered into practice with Marion D. Patterson, Jr. The legal partnership of Patterson and Evey was formed soon thereafter. We have been successful members of the legal community ever since, proudly serving the legal needs of central Pennsylvania for more than fifty years.

Over the years, we have expanded rapidly as we added lawyers with strong experience in the legal areas that the people and businesses of this region needed most. Our growth has resulted in our evolution into one of central Pennsylvania's most respected legal names. In 2004, Evey Black attorneys were awarded the Blair County Chamber of Commerce's highest honor when Evey Black was inducted into the Chamber's Business Hall of Fame.

Many of our clients who initially come to us to set up a family business or small business return to us as their estate planning and family needs change, or when they have suffered injuries in an auto accident. Our client base continues to grow today in large part because of referrals from satisfied clients and other legal professionals who recognize our commitment to excellence. To accommodate our clients' growing needs, we have opened a second office in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, serving southern Blair and Bedford Counties. Home visits can be arranged at clients' request for wills, powers of attorney, and living wills.
Currently, our firm has eight partners, one associate, and one attorney of counsel, making Evey Black one of Blair County's largest legal firms. With our roots firmly entrenched in the history of Blair County and Hollidaysburg, we continue to strive to render responsive, attentive, and personalized legal service to every client we advise or represent.
