Kathy J. Mauk was born on October 23, 1969 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, in 1991 and her Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law in 1994. Ms. Mauk was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1994, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Evey Black Attorneys in 2001, she was an attorney with Jubelirer, Carothers, Krier & Halpern, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, practicing primarily in the area of defense medical malpractice litigation. From 2012 until 2018, Attorney Mauk managed Evey Black's Louis S. Walton law office, which exclusively handled workers' compensation cases, until Evey Black decided to bring the practice back in-house.  Ms. Mauk practices in the following areas: Worker's Compensation, Estate Administration, General Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Real Estate, Municipal Law, Unemployment Compensation and Wills/POA's/Living Wills.
