The man extricated the deceased victim’s wife from the vehicle. She had been driving and was severely injured.
The front seat passenger of the car that hit the tree was trapped, but the good Samaritan was able to free him from the burning vehicle moments before the tires exploded, igniting the vehicle and the tree in a blaze of flames.
